Details:
Yankee CrossFit and CrossFit Revelation have teamed up to put together this throwdown for charity. This will be a partner throwdown, and teams will be of the same sex. Everyone will be able to participate in the events so please do not feel intimidated, this will be a fun competition. We will be announcing more details for this event shortly, but start looking for a partner and thinking of a team name. If you are not interested in competing in the throwdown, but still want to participate we are also looking for judges and volunteers. We will open registration next week, but if you are interested in volunteering or judging please email Andrew at: cfrevelation@gmail.com.

Army Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin III, 26, of Bethany, Oklahoma, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Fort Lewis, Wash., died September 29th, 2009, in Jolo Island, Philippines, from the detonation of an improvised explosive device. Martin is survived by his wife Ashley Martin, his parents Jack and Cheryl Martin, and siblings Abe, Mandi, Amber and Abi.
